Cheapest way to do this is with hard work, Widen your swingarm, buy second hand mag and clean polish / paint, Mudgaurd @ abig sale. Need welding experience & good knowlwdge of mechanics. This is a big job but with the right tools its easier. Anyone from the FORUMwith enough balls to try the conversion for themself is welcome to usemy Frame Jig to reweld and cut there swingarm for a nominal fee( XXXX Gold 30 packs untill your finished ).Same goes with the Spray booth guys if you think you can handlethe job and live in the area, should at least make good Posts for the Forum!!!We are actually spending this weekend planning out the new FrameShop, Australian made, with Vin numbers and MSO's.

Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Tire Kit

    200

I look forward to watching updates on the frame shop with interest. OK i see this is an older thread but I'll post here before starting again.I have just acquired a wheel/disc/pulley assembley off of an 07-08 softail standard to do a 200 rear conversion on my 2001 heritage softail. Now i know i need a wider swingarm and offset at the trans. And a narrower belt too. Does any one know what (or if) year model swing arm will fit or do i need a custom one? I am hoping an 07 up swing arm from a softail will fit.

Any other hints with this would be greatly received. Also can anyone recommend a machine shop that can modify my break calliper for this to fit? (around Melb sth east suburbs or in Latrobe Valley) Looking frward to this as my winter project.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yeah i will have to hunt down a speedo correction for it. I am hoping to be able to stick with the 200. I'll have to just modify more i guess. My next step is to get an 07+ swing arm and see how different it is to my stock one and get planning from there. I'm trying to figure out what front wheel to run with it? I don't like the look of much bigger (21' or 23' wheels on the front.

I was thinking maybe an 18 or 19 with a 130 on it would still look the goods. (in my opinon any way)Not sure on how it will effect the handling.

Unless i just run a 17 on the front as well.Again thanks for the input guys. I can't wait to get stuck in and do it. I'll put some picks up when i have success at fitting it all.
